Appleonia has written a song with musician Nadav Kahn for a new Australian theatre production called SINGLED OUT, performing at the Seymour Centre in Sydney as part of the 2013 Reginald Season. SINGLED OUT is a series of short plays focusing on the prediction that by 2020, one in three living arrangements in Sydney will be that of one-person households. Appleonia’s song will be performed by the cast as one of the pieces of the run, accompanying a series of portraits written by Australian playwrights, all directed by Augusta Supple.
